Are you in the 40 to 60 range of OPMD and need an outlet? Let's talk about our anxiety and stressors together(so our family members do not have the burden)

Hi, my name is Erin. I am 47 years old, and my mobility is worse than my 78 yo mother. Maybe I did more athletic things when I was younger (I played D1 soccer) to accentuate my advanced symptoms now? I don’t know. But if you are in the 40-60s range and would like to vent, so that your family members get a break :(, I would love to form a small group. I’m an occupational therapist, so I know many physical strategies to help manage symptoms (and I’m happy to share what I know), but that doesn’t help my mental health. And the need to just talk, so that I don’t take things out on the ones that love me  If you are interested in meeting in a smallish group—and are 40’s to 60-ish—to talk about the anxiety of going to new places, to have support and/or just to vent–Maybe we can have a group..?

No obligations or expectations—just a small, supportive space to talk about living with OPMD as a younger adult and how it affects our day-to-day lives.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, message me.
